So this weekend I received my first royalty payment from Amazon! It wasn’t much, but at this point in time I am too excited about the fact that I have received money for A BOOK THAT I HAVE WRITTEN! Holy crap. It’s real. My book is out there, people are buying it, and I am getting paid for it.
It makes everything seem so much more real, and it gives me hope that one day I can move towards writing full time instead of working full time and writing in my spare time. A girl can dream.
